How Can severe Itchiness In The Groin Be Treated?

My groin area seems to be sweaty an, itchy and appears inflamed. I m using a fungi cream but it does not totally solve the problem. Also, I have several brownish local growths that are near the inflammation area. Is there cream or spray I can use for the inflammation/itch? Is the brownish growth related (appeared about the same time)?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a fungal infection. I suggest you to use antifungal cream for local treatment. I also suggest you to use antifungal tablets for systemic effects. I also recommend a good hygiene, you should wash and dry frequently the area and use cotton underwear.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
